Understanding the QAPE Signal

The QAPE Signal summarizes selected provider-reported inputs for a Base token. It organizes evidence but does not replace underlying findings. Read category weights and data coverage beside the score; missing data is not positive evidence.

Four categories, explicit weights

The Signal allocates 100 points across contract (30), liquidity (30), holder concentration (25), and market activity (15). Weights do not mean every risk is measured or that a score maps to an outcome.

GoPlus provides contract and holder inputs. Contract reporting includes source availability and supported flags such as potential honeypots, hidden owners, recoverable ownership, balance changes, transfer pauses, and account-specific slippage. Holder rows estimate top visible non-contract wallet share, excluding burn addresses; exchange wallets are not reliably identified or excluded.

  • Contract: 30 points; liquidity: 30 points.
  • Holder concentration: 25 points; market activity: 15 points.
  • Review category evidence and coverage alongside the composite.

Understand providers and coverage

DexScreener supplies liquidity and activity. Activity uses reported 24-hour volume and buy/sell counts relative to liquidity and pair age; it is not recalculated from every Base transaction. Reports may change or omit pools.

Missing inputs are excluded, not assigned zero or treated as safe. Coverage is displayed; incomplete coverage means less evidence is represented and should remain visible in interpretation.

Separate scoring from on-chain observations

Supported, read-only Base checks are separate from the provider-derived Signal. A provider finding differs from a direct on-chain observation, which describes only the property checked; neither establishes every aspect of a token.

Liquidity uses DexScreener-reported pool liquidity relative to token valuation. LP ownership, locks, and burned liquidity are not scored. Direct pool observations do not prove funds are locked. Holder addresses are not identified owners, and large transfers do not reveal who controls wallets.

Use it as an index, not a verdict

Open category details, check coverage, and note scan time. Use the Signal to organize selected evidence, then investigate uncertainties. It does not assess every contract behavior, identify every holder, or reconstruct all Base activity.

Takeaway: interpret the QAPE Signal together with its inputs, sources, exclusions, and timing. It is not a direct on-chain safety audit, does not guarantee an outcome, and does not predict prices or advise trades.
