Know what the holder estimate represents
QuickApe uses GoPlus holder rows to estimate the top visible non-contract wallet share, excluding burn addresses. This provider estimate is not a complete identity map or measure of coordinated ownership. A wallet can represent an exchange, custodian, contract, or individual; labels may be wrong or missing.
Check whether holder information is present before comparing concentration. If unavailable, the category is unscored, not assumed favorable or unfavorable. Displayed coverage distinguishes a partial report.
- Read the provider and the report's exclusions before using a percentage.
- Treat addresses as addresses; do not assign an owner without evidence.
- Note missing holder rows rather than filling gaps by assumption.
Interpret distribution with restraint
A large visible balance means fewer visible addresses hold a substantial share, but it does not show whether those addresses are independent, coordinated, or likely to sell. A dispersed list also does not prove dispersed control: related wallets may use separate addresses.
Exchange wallets are not reliably identified or excluded in QuickApe's estimate. Do not turn an address rank into a claim about a founder, team, or exchange without separate evidence.
Compare holders with other evidence
Use the Base explorer to inspect transactions and token balances as direct on-chain observations where supported, and keep them separate from GoPlus-provided holder rows. A transfer between addresses establishes that tokens moved; a large transfer does not reveal the wallet owner, relationship between addresses, or motive. Look at the transaction context without turning an unexplained movement into an identity claim.
The QAPE Signal weights holder concentration at 25 points, alongside contract at 30, liquidity at 30, and market activity at 15. Holder and contract inputs come from GoPlus, while liquidity and activity come from DexScreener. Missing inputs are excluded and coverage is displayed. A score therefore summarizes available selected inputs, not every relevant ownership relationship.
Keep conclusions evidence-based
Record the time, provider, visible share estimate, exclusions, and uncertainty about labels. Compare reports only when sources and definitions are similar. Concentration can change; one scan is not permanent.
Takeaway: treat holder data as a partial map of visible balances, not a map of people. Validate address-level observations independently when possible, preserve uncertainty about identity, and consider concentration alongside contract, pool, and activity evidence. It cannot guarantee or predict market behavior.
